Born to Panamanian immigrant parents in the Bronx and raised on African American gospel and latinx songs, his exposure to genre-spanning, culturally diverse records shaped his love of music. Aaron first cut his teeth in the industry as a touring drummer for numerous bands (including LP, Teddy Geiger, St. Lucia, Fences)  but it wasn’t until his brief stint in Portugal The Man, where he contributed to their breakthrough album “Woodstock” (1.2B Spotify streams TD), did he realize his passion truly lied in writing and production. Since then, Aaron frequently collaborates with Nick Murphey (Chet Faker), Tyler Johnson and Nate Mercereau among other heavy-hitting songwriters.
